Random question...IMH on TV

Does anyone know if the network broadcasts (even the older ones) are replayed ever…maybe like on Versus, or anything?

Would like to get a quality copy if they’re going to be on TV, avoiding a purchase.

Thanks.

.

I saw IMH on the NBC digital sports channel a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know how often they replay it or where to find a schedule though.

Two things:

  1. the Windows Media Player Plugin (for Firefox) isn’t allowing me to view the videos
  2. Is there anywhere that’s got some of the older years? Specifically looking for 1995 and 1999; maybe even a decent taping of 89. Really, would like to see as many of them as possible.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, I can’t get them to work either. I just remember someone telling me that the videos were there, but I had never actually watched them.
And no, I’m not sure of where you could find the older races. Good luck, I’m sure those will be difficult to find.

I’ll only bump once.

You will need to buy it. NBC owns the rights to it and they are only broadcasting it on their Universal Sports channel (Digital channel 4.4 in Los Angeles and New York). And so far they have not broadcast those years.

-1 for Hulu. Hulu is ok if that is all you can see. But nothing beats the original material being broadcast over the air (not on cable or satellite) in high definition.

I had the same problem. However, they play fine in IE.

Raptor, is that channel only in LA and NYC?

Pardon my ignorance but why would over the air hd be better than sat or cable?

For satellite or cable, they tend to compress the signals even more. For a static picture you will not notice a difference but with a picture that has water droplets, you will see many artifacts pop up.

They are in 23 different markets now including most of the big TV markets: http://www.universalsports.tv/Universal_Sports_on_TV.html

Thanks, Raptor. Of course, no FLA.
