I don’t have a 705, but I used the smallest one of these to cover my Powertap.

Trying out a sandwich bag, but I was wondering if anything is made commercially.

If its anything like a Powertap comp I take a piece of wide clear vinyl tape (think electrical tape but clear) and cover the face then take a Ziploc bag and a decent rubber band and make a ghetto condom for the little yellow lozenge. It’s cheap but also I can change it out when the plastic gets a bit ratty.
cheers

Why are you worried about keeping it dry? The 705 is rated for 30 minutes of accidental submersion. I ride with mine in the rain/snow regularly.
I guess I didn’t want to take a chance on a $600 computer. My real concern is the placement of my 705 and my trainer rides. I sweat like a fat guy and the computer is mounted right in the line of fire. Not sure it counts as 30min of submersion, but I wouldn’t want to be underneath me for a two hour trainer ride. How heavy of a rainstorm do you ride with yours?
