Anyone catch the Raiders/Chiefs game last night? Well, Raiders got their first win of the season. But, anyone see this play?
Wow. Just, wow. Mensa candidates, all of them. If you did not see it last night, you gotta click below and watch this.
It had been 368 days since the Raiders last won a football game, so you can understand why Oakland would want to celebrate whenever possible.
But what linebackers Sio Moore and Khalil Mack did in the waning moments of Thursday night’s game vs. the Chiefs took it too far. After tackling quarterback Alex Smith, Moore and Mack celebrated 15 yards down the field, seemingly unaware that Kansas City was trying to run another play. If not for a heads-up timeout called by veteran Justin Tuck, the Chiefs would have had the easiest and most amusing five yards of the night.
Did you watch it? They also had THREE defensive penalties on the same play in that drive. It was 3 plays before the whole, ‘let’s celebrate this win away play’. $th and 3, incomplete pass, but almost every ref on the field had thrown a flag.
The worst part, all three penalties were blatantly obvious.
I almost want them to do the Browns deal where they go away for a couple years then re-form.
I saw that and thought the same thing you did. If I were the coach, I would have them running wind sprints from those same spots on the field. I guarantee you they wouldn’t do that again when I was finished with them.

Clearly Sparano is not the answer. Nor Mackenzie. Nor Davis.
Perhaps my greatest failing as father… I, sadly, influenced my kids into being Raiders fans. They were pre-teens when the Raiders were in their last Super Bowl so it was easy. Unfortunately, all they’ve know since is this shit show.
Well, at least they aren’t Giants fans (we’re from NY metro area)

Are you sure you want to admit this publicly? This could be used as evidence against you.
On a complete side note, I’m not opposed to celebrating, but I do find it kind of odd that these guys seem to work out their celebrations in the locker room, or perhaps they’ll come over to each other’s houses handwork on them.
“Okay, man. If we ever get a big play together, here’s what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna face you and we’ll slap forward first, then back, and then bro shake and finish it with a snap.” “I think we should finish with a pistol shoot.” “You mean a double gunslinger, or a single shoot with a wink?” “I dunno. Lets try both and see how it looks. You gotta mirror?”
Several house later: “No, man! I said no fist bump. This ain’t 2008 anymore! Lets try it again. Remember, we start with the right hand. Ok, ready, 5, 6, 7, 8……”
