So with all of the rain we have been having in Atlanta the past couple of weeks I have spent more time on my trainer than I would have liked. I had a fairly new set of tires, but the trainer has worn the back tire down pretty good. I do not think I am in danger of wearing completely through though.
Is that wear going to make a significant difference for a 70.3 race this weekend? I would say I am solid FOP on the bike, MOP overall, but this is my first half so I do not plan to push the bike as hard as in the shorter races.

How many miles have you put on? Your tires should last longer on a trainer than they would the road. Are you sure it’s wear, and not just dirt from the trainer wheel? My rear tire gets a nice dark grey stripe that looks like wear, but rubs off.
