I know neither crank is out, but based on each company’s history, which one would you personally buy? I’m assuming they’ll be relatively comparably priced (when including BB cost), so I’m hoping someone can weigh in on their thoughts about the two companies.
The Racing Torq is lighter, but Red includes ceramic BB for the same price, and might even be stiffer (isn’t there an aluminum backing in there somewhere?). So where does my allegiance go? I’ve decided my DA crank looks tacky with my SRAM drivetrain, and YES, that IS enough of a motivation for me to change.
