x2 on Superfeet inserts. I have the orange running model in every shoe I wear 24/7 since I have been managing my plantar fasciitis.
As for shoes, I now race most of my sprint tris and 5k’s in my lighter training shoes (Brooks launch). I would rather run in a few ounces heavier shoe than deal with a flare up and impact my next race.
As for treatment, I have found Graston scraping technique to be a life saver. I have it done by my local chiro. Also have found benefit from acupuncture.
