really? I would have expected more from shedding shodding by a few ounces. SeasonsofChange quoted 2sec/mi for each oz- which seems like a lot. For a HM, 6sec/mi is huge. I wouldn’t hesistate at risking a few blisters for an extra 1:20 off my time. Race endorphins can mask a lot of pain.
For me tho’- my HM distance race shoes (Mizuno Wave Elixer) are only 1oz lighter than my trainers (Lunarglides). But still- I’ll take those 26.2 seconds
