I need to come up with a race resume ASAP. can anybody tell me the proper way to do this and what to include? Besides the “smartass” answer that is “find a website with one and go from there?” thanks 
Are you applying for sponsership? Good luck! Smartass answer - try looking at some pro/spnsered athlete sites for ideas.
The ones I have seen are pretty straight forward -
list year, races underneath, and highlight accomplishments
My current resume:
2005
Musselman Sprint - run sucked, MOP
Parvin State Park Sprint - run sucked, 4th place AG
etc.
Hey Marisol! I used to work at Zoot Sports and I can tell you what we saw and what worked! Like an employment resume, keep it to one page! Also INCLUDE PICTURE(S)!! Companies like to see who’s going to be representing their product, it’s also more eye catching!! Let me know if you have any more specific questions or if you want me to look at it!

It can be results-oriented or exposure oriented…big difference.
If you’re being chosen out of a hat, then go with results.
If you’re soliciting a company who isn’t current involved in triathlon, then go with exposure.

thanks everyone. I was thinking about just listing the races with how I placed. Should I put the time too? i am not sure what it’s for, my coach needs it, I guess we will get sponsors.
I would include time AND placing.
ex- 11:10- 3/125
ok, thanks:-) even for the small tri’s with weird distances? do you put like: 1st age group, 2nd overall or just the age group or overall placement?
Put your age group place unless you’re competing for a top spot. Include any special talents you have (swim leader, top run splits, etc). List unique ways you will bring exposure to a company. What can you do for them, in other words. A headshot with a nice smile doesn’t hurt. Include summary plans for next year or two.
If it’s an overall win, definitely include. Obviously you wouldn’t have to include AG win as well, as that would be assumed. However if it was 1st AG and 3rd Overall, I would include both!!
