Did anyone see the dead raccoon on the side of the road on the bike course? Someone put a party hat on it and a beer bottle in it’s hand. Tragic, but I laughed my ass off when I saw that. I looked for it on the second loop but didn’t see it.
I saw those too but they weren’t as funny. The deer smelled worse than the skunk.

I really cracked up when I saw the racoon, saw it the first time but someone must have moved it cause I looked for it for another laugh on the second loop. I caught a wiff of skunk at 94.5 and 100. Not
I was also wearing mardi gras beads and sunglasses if I remember correctly. I think it was removed by someone, because it wasn’t there on lap 1.

Some redneck probably took it home for supper. 
I saw that and couldn’t figure out if
- it was roadkill that someone had dressed up (GROSS)
- A very tame, indolent pet cat that had been dressed up
- A cuddly toy.
However my first thought was that it was indeed #1 but I began to think about the other options because I could not imagine someone putting a party garland around the neck of a dead racoon.
I didn’t see that but I did see a dead deer and skunk… yuk…
Yep the deer stank pretty bad and was actually near homes not out in the open just laying in the ditch.
