R2.5 vs. P2K for IM Wisconsin?

Since I got such a great response to my last question, I’ll pose another (I’m an IM-length newbie). I have both an R2.5 Chorus and a P2K (gotta love those Cervelos). Any ideas as to which one would be best for IM Wisconsin? The R2.5 is really a comfortable bike to ride when it comes to soaking up the bumps, and is really light so it climbs great. But I’m a little faster on the P2K, and my last brick workout seems to indicate I run a little better off of it. But, it beats me up pretty good on the bumps. What’s the consensus out there? I will have to fly to the race, so bringing both, checking out the course, and then choosing is unfortunately out of the question. Thanks in advance–

I’d ride your tri bike. There are really only three bigger hills on the course, and you’ll have plenty of time to sit in your aero position. Plus if you run better off it, that’ll be a nice plus.

Thinking the same thing…(raced Moo twice before on my tri bike)

I’m usually the 1st to say “tri bike and and disc”, but have been tainted with some pro advise and may reconsider to use a road bike/clip ons. (I road race in the spring and put out more power, albeit a tiny less aero, on my Soloist)

Good thing I have time and the ability to drive to Madison and see for myself a few times. Won’t make a decision until July 15th or so.

If Herbert is reading this…a QR 55cm TiPhoon swap would cure all my problems and be a slam dunk bike for Moo. ;o)

P2k definitely. My P3 worked like a charm there.

I think I am leaning in the P2K direction as well. Thanks for the inputs, everyone.
