Sorry, last one from me:
i’m pretty sure this guy is from my neck of the woods. spartanburg, or “sparkle city”, as some locals call it, is an interesting place.
That video is getting old…
With guys like this, I can only imagine how “interesting” it is!
I’ve looked at a couple of his videos (never watched more than 1 min of any) and they were all about 10 min. I see this chump has posted 82 vids in 3 weeks. At 10 min each (big assumption since i have only looked at a handful), that’s over 13 freakin hours of video in 3 weeks he’s made. dude needs to get a life.
Now that I think about it, I bet there are plenty of people who spend more than 13 hours on this site in 3 weeks, so maybe the 13 hours of geek/computer time is not so unusual.
No need to look harder, you’re right. Each video is in fact 10 min long (give or take 10 seconds).
And yes, he needs to get a life. it’d be one thing if he were interesting or at least had some good ideas…
He was famous before all that. Within two minutes of me meeting the fellow in person he had me in stitches. The guy is hilarious. A day or two later he was dressed in a freiggin’ clown suit running next to me at the 14 mile mark at Ironman. I was like, “What the f*@#+?”
Huge.
That’s all fine and good, but until you make it into one of the OpinionatedCyclist’s youtube videos, you’re B-list.
I made it 1:27 into that video and I regret waisting that much of my life on it.

“Each video typically runs, uh, 10 minutes in length. But sometimes I wish they, us, could go longer.”
OH GOD, NO.
Today’s workout challenge:
Anyone who can ride their trainer for two hours while watching this guy the entire time. Good luck. For insurance purposes you must pre-register at your local asylum.
Why is Spartanburg an interesting place?
