It’s Friday. Be thankful for something…
Beautiful day here in Nor Cal. My family is healthy, we have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies.
yeah! thats right, it could be much worse. market could be in the 6’s… 
We have a really nice day here in Toronto too. It’s been raining on and off, but we have a high of 8 degrees, so I’ll take that. Not looking forward to the cold coming the next couple of days, though. Spring can’t come soon enough for me.
I’ve had a rough couple of months due to some personal stuff we’re going through, but the thing that’s kept me sane is thinking as much as I can about how good we have it. We’ve got 2 beautiful girls who are doing very well, we’ve got a nice house which is paid for and we’ve got food when we need it. We have to keep the problems we encounter in perspective.

I wrote earlier that I was kind of happy that the economy is tanking, for the simple reason that more people have to realize life is not all about money.
Last week, not one of the children in the orphanage died (they are AIDS children) so that is what I am thankful for.
Especially when that 95% of the population is trying to take away that money!
It seems the people who do the most bitching on this forum are the ones who make more money than 95% of the population. Proving the adage that money can’t buy happiness.
Yeah, but that is self-reported internet rich. Did I mention I bear a strong resemblance to Brad Pitt and can hold 400W for hours on end?
I’ve lost my job. My dog is dying from cancer and I am turning 40 on Monday.
But, the sun is out, I am healthy, my extended family is healthy, my husband makes a good living so we aren’t in danger of losing our house, I have made many new friends in the last year and I’m looking forward to my run today.
All in all, our problems are small compared to others and we are very fortunate. I recognize that every day.
Then I’m either the acceptation or don’t qualify as “Bitching”
