Quintana Roo bicycle question

So I am looking at a QR Tequilo 2007 model in the 46cm. I can’t find the geometry on the 46 cm(for the 2007 model) on any websites. Does anyone know if they changed the specs on their sizing? Just want to make sure the bike will fit! I know they dropped the Kilo, and the Tequilo became baseline bike since that time.

Thanks

there are no stack and reach numbers in the brochure.
if Dan was still there…

ups! and I thought customer service was way below par at ABG… with this it will probably be worse. Lets hope they don’t drop QR!

what does the 74 in trigirl74 stand for???

These are stack and reach measurements that QR gave me last year for the Seduza. Not sure if they will help or not.

XS Stack 45.1 Reach 39.4 (650c)
S Stack 48.8 Reach 38.7
M Stack 51.4 Reach 40.7
L Stack 55.0 Reach 43.0

what does the 74 in trigirl74 stand for???

Nothing special. Just the year I was born. I wish it was something more creative.

no the geometry is different for carbon bikes, but thanks for posting them
.

Me too september! 1974 was the year of the tiger, good year!

Thank you for looking up the 2007 Tequilo specs…but here is my dilemma.

And will this bike fit??

The fit information doesnt tell us everything, it doesnt say what seat angle or set back (more likely set forward for somebody your height) the saddle was when coming up with the fit information. Still it looks most likely the bike would fit you, its slightly longer in the top tube than the upper range, but you could move the saddle forwards or run a slightly shorter stem than they have specified.
Your inseam and height are the same as my wife and she fits well on an older Cannondale Slice with 650’s and a 47cm top tube.

Thanks for helping me out!

And will this bike fit??

as mentioned, these “aero fit” coordinates do not
provide enough information to make a useful assessment.
it is possible the '07 tequilo will fit you, but with the proviso
that you may have to replace a bunch of things, starting with
the stock stem. depending on how steep you are comfortable
riding, the top tube may be acceptable.

I have an older QR Tequilo bike, similar to the Kilo, I’m fit using the FIST. However, I think because of the seat post angle at 76.5 degrees, I am not able to have my back flat and more aero, unless I were to change the original aerobars that stick too high. I already took out both the spacers but still no low enough. I still have all the angles but I am definitely tilted slight upward. It’s a shame because I am very flexible and I could use the full aero position. Any suggestions? Thank you.
