when remounting old tubies, do you use acetone on the tubies themselves as well to remove the old glue or just on the rim? would it ruin the base tape if I did? or should I not do anything?
I am definitely a tubie newbie, I understand that cleaning the rim is a good thing (to remove the accumulated gunk, these wheels I got haven’t been glued in over a year) and I was wondering if the same applied to the tire itself, evidently not
