Quick training question

Training for a Mary, long run is on sunday and then a short run on monday for recovery I assume (I am using a begineers Mary training plan) anything wrong with using a easy bike ride for recovery instead of the 3 mile run the plan calls for? I didn’t get my run in yesterday and it is bugging me, but I rode 11 miles for my commute.

A bike ride is a better choice as it gives your joints a break but still gets the blood flowing. Most beginner plans I’ve seen have a rest day after your long run.
