Quick Review: My First Impression of Mavic's UST Road Wheels

I changed to Mavic Comete last week, had a race on sunday and am quite happy

However, I don´t run tubeless as I had a lot of bad experience when I tried in 2016 (TLR Rim with Schwalbe Pro One - so no UST). On the new setup I ride Conti TT (23 front, 25 rear) with Schwalbe SV20 light tubes (Butyl). Brake is TriRig front und Tektro rear (BB). Pads are Mavic yellow carbon pads (that came with the wheelset). I had Exalith (Cosmic Pro Carbon) before and braking in dry is equal. Since the brake-track is wider than before the tires fit perfect and I can position the pads closer to the rim. Thus the brake (lever) engages earlier.

Though I ride 7,5bar pressure and weigh only 70kg the ride feels a lot more comfortable and smooth (compared to Cosmic Pro Carbon Exalith with Conti GP4000 SII before) - if this is the wheelset or the tire I don´t know…

Can´t say anything about crosswinds or braking in wet at this time.

… and since you asked for green:
