I think with their other bikes folks have been able to customize logo placement, other text, etc… from what I’ve seen on weight weenies so hopefully will be able to take that off. Some of these chinese brands really need to go more minimalist with their branding like the evolve and winspace bikes from this summer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU_CBldBUmo Joe from panda podium put out a longer video, some details he mentioned:
- frame weight is ~1200g no mention of seatpost/fork/hardware/storage
- tire clearance is 32C
- t47-68 BB
Some other thoughts a few days after seeing this:
- I’m surprised that the head tube and base bar look so thick from the frontal shots, esp compared to bikes like the Factor Hanzo and One. Given that Rolf Singenberger seemed to leave BMC around 2015, wonder if design philosophies limited by older UCI rules impacted development.
- Two storage compartments (BB and seatpost) seems to be a bit overkill. With my QR PRFive rear box, I only have two TPU tube, a multitool, some CO2 cartridges, and a dynaplug with plenty of extra space leftover, and I’d hope to only put items that I only need to access in worst-case scenarios in there.
- I’d guess that prices for full builds would be similar to their TT frame at ~$8k for top-spec but will still probably undercut most bikes offered by western brands. Their TT:ONE frameset is listed for $2800 but does not include the option to add a groupset separately to build out your own bike.
Not only the head tube. That down tube looks enormous to me, particularly its width, and I own an Andean. I’ve seen ebikes with less voluminous down tubes than this bike. Wondering what the tradeoff between optimal aero and internal storage is for most racing situations.
So have Trek licensed that for the SC bars?
Trek is very different, its an extendable extension bar. nothing to do with arm support or full arm support. also its 2 sides connected. etc. The Look patent is specific to full arm support aerobars.
Ah, I know exactly what Trek version was but it was this I hadn’t understood. Thanks.
Enve has very similar extensions. Not sure if they’re paying royalties.
Pre-order on the USA website is live.
But more importantly, also geometry charts. Any insights from bike fit experts?
2 very different designs
Enve, 3 piece design. Clamps that holds the aero profiled extension and then a carbon cup attached above it. See pics below, Vrs Look, full arm support design with adjustable length overlapping aero profiles.
A size S TR:ONE has stack of 525 and reach of 395. when compared to a size S QR v-pri actual stack and reach are 475/395 with additional stack height easily adjustable through cockpit spacers. I’m currently riding a size 50 prfive disc which I think is now a bit small for me at 172cm, but was good for a conservative position when I first started riding bikes. It will be quite interesting to see what kind of details QP is able to share with cockpit adjustability
According to the pre-order page you can select stem length up to 140mm!
I guess that is a mistake from the originale page for road bikes because that bike’s cockpit looks very unlikely to have different widths in bars and stems as it appears to be from the looks like an integrated bar/stem combo. It would be a massive good offering though, but I can’t imagine it being correct.

Pretty sure it’s just a mistake from copy + paste of their road bikes, those dimensions seem to exactly match the stem length and bar width of their integrated cockpit. Would be really nice to have base bar options though, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a chinese company was the first to offer a huge range of options given how many configurations they offer for road bikes. I am riding a 140x380 cockpit from EXS on my Aethos, since Roval didn’t offer any stem longer than 90mm for a 380mm Rapide bar and the Alpinist options were even scarcer
Ya, not surprisingly, the firms that suffer most from the tariffs are the entirely US ones. I have other China/Tawain vendors with a footprint in the US that have been able to import essentially at their cost and resell to me and avoid the bulk of that tariff.
