Ahhhh, the Bay is a toasty 65 degrees F at the moment. Probably the high today as well. The fog just rolled past Alcatraz come to look at it.

only111 today, was 114 yesterday and the real summer isn’t even here - still have low humidity. not bad for riding though, was nice at 6 and nicely hot by 8:30.

Tim, it costs big bucks to live comfortably out here on the Coast. How much it’s worth to you to be naturally cool all summer only you can answer. All I know is I haven’t been able to afford a new bike since 1996 so there.

I had an Aquathon last night at 6:15 PM and my car said 98 when I got there… The run was toasty and upon finishing I proceeded directly to my transition area, removed my shoes and jumped back in the lake. That was nice, indeed!

Cleveland. When I left work yesterday and headed off on my 90-minute ride, it was about 85. But the skies were pretty ominous and I could hear thunder in the distance. A half hour later I rode into the storm and felt the temperature drop significantly. By the time I got to my car to head for home, the themometer read 72. But we finally got the rain we haven’t had for weeks.

125 degrees F–at least that’s where our digital thermometer maxed out. About 40 miles north of Baghdad at FOB ORYAN.
