I saw on CyclingNews that there is going to be a narrow version of the Radars available for women or people who prefer a narrower pair of shades. I tried on the new Radars and loved them, but they were definitely too wide for my face. Anyone know anything about the availability of the narrower version?
Also, are the Racing Jackets available in anything but black with the gold lenses? That is the only option shown on the Oakley website. Thanks.
Remember that, for racing jackets, Oakley has a custom program. You may be able to order any combination they can build. The custom program does not apply to all frame and lense styles and colors, but is an excellent resource.
I haven’t heard about the narrower Radars though.
That’s odd, there’s no mention of the custom option for the Racing Jackets on the Oakley website even though it is mentioned for other glasses.
As for the narrower Radars, not that I want pink…but…
Two versions for smaller fit: Asian fit and Women’s. If you call Oakley CS, they can help you order or do it through your LBS. I’ve done both for a variety of small things not typically carried in a shop and I find Blick & Co to be really friendly and helpful. They sent me a Hi Intensity Blue m-frame lens before they were released to the masses just for asking (and paying thankyouverymuch). Good people, and no, I’m not an Oakley athlete as my results will confirm.
