Hi, i’m in the market for some race wheels and I have a nice line on some H3C’s, but had a couple of questions before I pull the trigger. 1. Any advantage/disadvantage to using H3’s over say a Zipp 404 in the hills? 2. Also, I’ve never ridden tubulars before. I’m pretty handy around the bike, but what about repairs on the fly, What do you do? Keep a whole tire with you? 3. I just need a little guidance, I’m on a fixed budget and want to get the best fit/deal for my race season. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ps. I already know about race-day wheels, but I’ll be doing a couple of sprints, an Oly and probably 1/2 IM before CDA and would like to have wheels for those races also.
For Canada, I would suggest my 62mm wheels.
