Tom,
On the photo of the rear brake/seat cluster from your review of the R2.5 what is the silver piece next to the frame where the rear brake bolts to the wishbone stay?
Thanks.

I think its the left pedal you may be describing. It is slightly blurry due to depth of field.
hey, are you selling these?
lol (sorry, couldn’t help it - Merry Christmas!)
ok, even I think that one should be moved!

Not the pedal, the silver part at the rear brake bolt.
Thanks
Ok, I’ll delete it. Long story.
hey, I was only joking.
Yeah, but you have a point and I was only adding fuel to some people’s fire. And it is ironic that this is taking place on a post where I actually own the bike where the question is concerned. As far as I can tell it is difference between Campy and Shimano.
The face of the rear brake caliper is hexagonal in shape. The single pivot design does not use the same mounting interface that the front brake, or any other caliper uses. That silver piece you see is part of the brake (and all rear Campagnolo single pivot brakes) and make centering the caliper easier from different angles.
I know it was a Q for Tom, sorry to butt in.

Thanks SuperDave, I was not sure if it was a washer and was wondering why my R2.5 did not have one.
