I recently used my CT without a small external floor fan/heater (no it was set to cool!) directly next to the load generator. I’ve now managed to warp the eddy disc such that it scrapes on some of what must be magnets.
I was curious to know whether, when you look through the openings around the load generator, the thin (eddy) disc is centrally located between the two sides of magnets? I never thought of looking before now and even allowing for the very minor warping it looks like the disc was very close to one side of magnets and a few (extra) mm from the other side. Is this normal?
