Question about applying for jobs

I’m looking for a new job. There’s a company I want to work for and they have 4 jobs open in the same office (new contract). three of the jobs are similar, just different levels of responsibility (from what it looks like) and the 4th is different… but still probably have the same hiring authority.

Do I apply for all the jobs, or just 2 (the senior one of the 3, and hope if I’m not selected for that one they’ll consider me for the others) and the 4th job.

Apply for the one you are most qualified for. If they interview you and find one of the other jobs is a better fit they’ll move you in that direction.

I agree with Jen. Do what you can to get hired first.

X3. Just did this on Wednesday. Didn’t mention the other two in the cover letter. If I get an interview, I’m sure it will come up then.

I suggest that you either go with what you really like or the highest position you think you are most qualified for. If in case you choose the one you prefer the most, then that would be a lot easier for you to do the job. If you get the one you are most qualified for, then you would have the skills needed to get it done, but does not include having fun while doing so.

Try to find out who the hiring manager or someone else in that group might be. Check on Linkedin to see if you can find any contacts.
Drop them a quick LinkedIn message “I am considering applying to these jobs. Do you have a few minutes to discuss which one I would be best suited for.”
