Does anyone have any experience with fitting these rings onto the SRAM red quarq power meter without voiding warranty or without comprising the accuracy of the meter significantly? I know that generally 3rd party rings aren’t compatible with this meter because of the hidden bolt design, but I was curious to know if anyone has come up with ways to make these two products work with each other.
I am not sure on fitting them but from what I remember Q-Rings affect the accuracy of a crank based PM. Scroll down a bit and you’ll see the section

Now is it statistically significant? Probably not from your one session to another for you but possibly comparing from a current PM you may have.
If it’s a new Quarq, the torque strain gauges are in the spider, and users are free to swap rings w/o factory re-cal.
On to the bigger issue, fitting them, that’s where you might be in trouble.
At best, you’re looking at chain pins out of phase b/c of the reoriented pattern of the new Red, at worst you’re looking at some mods.
There is a lengthy thread on WW about Red Quarqs, fitting Stronglight & Praxxis rings, etc.
