Quarq powermeter have problem, anyone can help?

My Quarq for rotor looks like broken . When i calibration, the numbers go to 31xxx in both garmin ( garmin 500 and 705 ) . However, quarq already dismanfactured. Does anyone also got rotor quarq and have problem with that ? Thank you.

one easy thing to do is check the torque on your chainring bolts. If they are off you can get some wacky numbers

hi , i checked and Same high calibration numbers…

I had a Quarq Saturn with Rotor cranks. I had the same issue. My problem was water got into the Quarq. Have you contacted Sram yet? Mine was still under warranty, even though they no longer sold the model, so they sent me a Riken at no charge. Even if yours is out of warranty I’m sure they can fix it. Contact them their customer service is great.

You should still five Quarq a call.

mine did the same thing–sent it to quarq, they sent me a new one. Very good customer service.

I am living in Taiwan. Looks they cannot fix the problem and ask me to buy a new one.
I am using 160mm crankarm on my quarq. I dont think other quarq model have 160mm long.

Hi, Are you also using Rotor quarq ?

Sorry I’m slightly confused. Do you have a rotor power meter or a Quarq with rotor cranks? I had a Sram Cinqo with Rotor cranks that went bad. I didn’t/don’t have a rotor meter

Hi. It would be most helpful if you contact Quarq Customer Service by sending an email to ThinkFast@Quarq.com. We will need the sensor ID which is printed inside of the battery compartment.

Hi, my powermeter is quarq and the crankarm are rotor. Thank you

Same thing I had. Follow Rob’s advice. I did as he advised and they took great care of me!

Out of curiosity, did you ride in the rain? I noticed mine failing on a wet ride.

Hi Rob Bee , Just sent you a email. Thank you so much you reply my post and help.

I was riding in a sunny day , after riding 1.5 hours the powermeter suddenly show 0 watt, then i try to calibration and the number goes very very high.
