Sorry, forgot to say that they are the sram rings as supplied. I dont have an iphone and i am unique in the world by not knowing someone with one locally either.
i think it’s time to give Quarq a ring. they may have an idea or two for troubleshooting, but you’ve exhausted the obvious.
DOA. Return to Sender. It is an ex-quarq, a quarq that is no more.
Just working out how to swap it out for a new one.
Whilst the use of the Iphone is cool, then I can’t help thinking that PC based software and a USB Ant+ dongle would be more universal. Even a Mac laptop / desktop if you must.

Or an Android app.
Qalvin works with the iPad or iPod touch as well I hear. You can also run Quarq-d in a Mac OS or Unix to set Quarq’s slope - I haven’t done it, but the procedures are out there.
??? I din’t have an I-anything. I’m over the age of 35. I have a wife. Therefore I’m afraid that none of that made any sense at all ![]()
But I did mention the Android comment to them, as my wife does have an Andriod phone. They said I wasn’t the first to mention it…
Well it all seems to be getting sorted, so will be all good. And somewhat reassuring that it wasn’t that I’d installed it backwards, or equivalent ![]()
