Quarq BB30 fit on 2014 P2

So, I guess I should have asked this questions before I purchased my Quarq, but now I am trying to figure out what am I going to need to make this work, or even if it will work at all…

Ingredient 1:
2014 Cervelo P2, which was fitted with Ultegra Di2 gruppo all around

Ingredient 2:
Quarq Red22 130 BCD BB30 53/39 170mm

Is it going to fit? Do I need a new BB to make it fit? I had a FSA Gossamer there from factory and I do not see a spare BB in the box that I got from my LBS.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

Current BB is fine. Leave off the axle spacer on NDS. Might need some shims to get the cranks even.

You need a new BB. Something like the Rotor BSA30 or Zipp Vuma BB. You will need shims and wave washers to make it fit.

That would be for an old P2 and still wouldn’t work as the quarq doesn’t have space on the DS for an external bearing.

Ah, you’re right. The new P2 are BBRight not BSA. You’ll need to remove the NDS spacer and bearing preload adjuster and get a wave washer to preload the bearings.
