You will need an adapter for the BBrite Bottom bracket or a new bottom bracket but sure.
you can send back to quarq for 3-350$ and theyll reinstall that power meter on a bb30 which will fit directly and theyll send you back a gxp crankset without the PM installed.
I would recommend getting a GXP-to-BBright adapter. I wanted to use my existing BB30 crankset on my Cervelo NP2, but the spindle wasn’t long enough. I ended up getting a nice BBright crank on eBay. If I had a good GXP crank, I probably would have just gotten the adapter. BBright is BB30, but with a longer spindle. Most BB30 cranks won’t work with BBright. However, most SRAM/Shimano cranks will with an adapter.

Yes it will. Your best bet is an adaptor made by Rotor: http://www.cart32hostingred.com/cgi-bin/cart32.exe/ROTORCOMPONENTSLLC-store?catid=256998500&prodid=258530650&Theme=Basic%202
Click the drop down on the right and select the BBright to GXP adaptor of your choice.
Getting these into the frame takes a bit more effort that the expression “press-fit” suggests. I ended up using a lot of grease, two thick pieces of wood and a large G clamp. They tend to soak up pressure and then jump in a few millimetres at a time with a loud and alarming noise.
The other issue to be aware of is that space is a bit tight for the magnet. I used putty rather than the O-ring. The magnet can end up fouling on a small flange on the inside of the (compact) spider - I ended up filing the contact point away. All works well now.

Tom A will hopefully chime in but I thought the only delta between BBright and BB30 is the number/width of spacers. Other than that, the spindle and ‘stance width’ should be identical. I just put my BB30 Quarq on a New P3 with BBright this spring…no problems. The only issue is the clearance of the Quarq magnate on the drive side. Super tight fit that I solved with a hot glue gun, but you may want to install the quarq firmware that allows you to go “no magnet” (I have not yet).

You are correct the newer BB30 quarqs have a longer spindle and will work if you remove the non-driveside spacer and use a wave washer instead.
Still, I would just use an adapter with his existing GXP crank.

Thank’s mates… that what i’ll do!!! gonna get an adapter! ![]()
The adapter will probably work just fine but the best thing to do would be to use the proper spindled cranks without adapters. The BB30 cranks for ELSA/RED are $435 and for RIKEN are $376. If you send the Quarq to us, we only charge for the cranks and return shipping. Labor, calibration, and a stock spider installed to your GXP cranks is free.
