I’m trying to find out what the qualifying times usually are in the Buffalo Springs Lake 1/2 IM. The qualifiers are not marked in the results pages.
Does anyone know where I can find this info, alternatively, can anyone give me an idea of what times I should be shooting for?
Just look at the number of slots given out. Nowadays, the slots down roll down too far. You also want to look to see who is signed up, and look at their times from last years race if they did it. You can also check the entry list against other IM and 1/2 IM results. If you have the time, crossreference the entry list to the USAT rankings. Don’t forget to see who is ‘aging up’ into your age group, and who might be moving out.

To figure out those from 2001 and 2002, just look at the top two times in each age group. They only take 1 or 2(from the larger age groups).
