Speaking of restoring bikes…
I just picked up on Ebay a NOS 1999 Quintana Roo Special Edition road frame…wondering if anybody out there in Slowtwitch land has more info on it than I’ve gotten so far…
I know it’s 74 degree seat tube, 1" headset, probably 27.2mm seatpost and BSA threads, braze-on front derailleur, 55cm (c-top) seat tube, and 53cm c-c top tube, 650c wheels…
Any other info would be greatly appreciated…especially if someone could recommend the original OEM fork rake. Any other idiosyncrasies should I know about?
Plans are to convert into a fixed-gear with a White Industries eccentric hub, and going with an all-black motif. Can’t wait to ride steel again!
