QR Seduza Owners?

Anyone ride one? Ive read the $2500 shootout on bikesport and have a chance to buy a brand new, 08 Seduza for $1400, in my size. Stack and reach is comparable to what I need and cheap price equals more left over for a good set of zipps and a helmet. So, how are these?

Seduza is a great bike! It is a great full carbon frame with reasonable components set. This bike has been going on Bonktown on occasion for like $1200 which is a huge steal! BUY IT

I’m really happy with mine. I find it very comfortable and only upgraded the crank with a free FSA SLK carbon from a friend. Oh, I put my own saddle on it too. I got mine used last year for 1400.00 CDN with only two races on it.
For racing I put some old Zipp 440 tubulars (the hubs are still amazingly smooth) I got for $300.00 on and I don’t think I’m at a disadvantage even though I’m not riding a $6000.00 bleading edge of technology machine. I’m thinking about a wheelcover for it too and still will have a capable bike for well under $2000.00 tax included.
Of course, the engine needs a tune up, but I’m working on it!

Great bike. I have one and love it. I upgraded my crank to SRAM Red and upgraded the cockpit to full Profile carbon. It’s fast and pretty. Go for it.

that’s a steal. Go for it. I have the 08 model which is a pretty solid bike. Dura Ace mix. This years version has 105, and not nearly as nice IMO.

Absolutely go for it. It’s a great bike and the price is definitely right. You can make upgrades as you see fit without breaking the bank.

For that money, there is no better deal. I still enjoy my 2006, which has 6,000 miles and a couple dozen races (including an iron man) on it. And I paid 2x the amount you are looking at. Plenty of pros and fast AGers have ridden that frame to fast times. Wish I could find as nice a road bike for that price … (My Seduza is plenty speedy, but not so fun for riding/training in the mountains).

while i’m on a Lucero, i know a couple folks who are on Seduzas. but only for a short time on race day. and then they are sporting big %$#* eatin grins all the way through the run.

steal of a deal you are looking at. let us know how it pans out.

I’ve got an 07 Seduza that I absolutely love! It’s a great bike with good components for a very low price. And if you read some of the recent posts on the forum here, it looks like the Seduza is actually faster in the windtunnel that the P2C (at least in QR’s tests).
With the right engine, this bike will go just as fast, or faster, than most bikes 3x the price.
