QR Redstone in Ebay Bikes

Someone’s selling a Qunitana Roo Redstone frame over on Ebay. That is one unusual-looking frame, with all that gusseted covering.

Anybody know how heavy it was?

Alexander Graham Kahuna

Kinda heavy. I don’t know the poundage, but my training partner bought one a couple years ago for a steal and loved it. It was this weird salmon/pink color and he never had trouble finding his bike on the racks.

Yah, that’s the color that this one is, too. Hmmmmm…wonder how much it’d cost to have it painted navy blue and gold?

No price would be too much.

Get a nice Bill the Goat on the rear fairing.

I always wondered how you adjusted the rear brake on the Redstone. I thought it was inside the rear fairing. Now I see it at the bottom, under the chainstays. Nice touch Dan!

Ahhhhhhhhhh! Somebody’s over at the Ebay site pervving on that Redstone! I better put a hugely exorbitant bid in on it to make sure I get it!!

Chicken Little Kahuna

So if that rear fairing was supposed to be so aero, why hasn’t it been seen on other bikes?

Yah, that’s the color that this one is, too. Hmmmmm…wonder how much it’d cost to have it painted navy blue and gold?

You moved back go Hawaii, remember!

Aloha,

From what I understand, it was a pretty cool bike, but I’ve heard that sometimes that carbon fairing can sometimes separate from the aluminum tubes. I don’t own one, but I saw some deals on it before so i researched it then. Probably still a good deal though.

The redstone was an aerodynamic prodigy.
Very well thought out.
I’ve never ridden one, but I’ve heard some great reviews about it.
Buy it, it special, like my grammar.
