Anybody have any info regarding the Panament(sp).What is this bike made to do?Seat angleand what kind of fork to run?Maybe Dan?

there is a dude named ernesto over on the singlespeed forum at mtbr.com with one of those he has discussed. also, those singlespeeders know a huge bitchpile of info on mt bikes in general/history. go ask those guys.
The actual spelling is/was Panamint.
IIRC, it was meant to cater to the Xterra set, but never really caught on. I think a lot of the bike courses were too technical for a forward geometry mountain bike.
I believe the seat angle was around 75 degrees. Empfield (Slowman) would definitely know as he was the brave soul that spec’d the geometry.
