Does the 2008 Lucero Ti mean that QR is doing away with carbon frames like Litespeed & Merlin did? Thoughts? insight?
I doubt it. Though the majority of the market is buying carbon frames, as long as there’s money to be made in titanium, companies will make ti frames. Litespeed and Merlin lack credibility in carbon; QR has no such brand perception deficiency.
I don’t work there anymore so I am not speaking for them, but there is no way that they would not sell carbon bikes anymore. The Lucero Ti bike just replaces a Ti-phoon in terms of their line.
