Q: Should a local bring extra stuff to IM

I was just wondering I will be driving to IMLP should I bring extra gear just in case someones bike gets lost in transit (Bike Shoes Helmet etc).

Can’t hurt. I always bring extra goggles and a helmet with me to races. I’ve loaned out the helmet at a race before. I’d hate to be in a situation where I couldn’t race because of a brain fart when I packed, or a luggage issue.

I wouldn;t go out of my way to pack a whole bunch of extra stuff, but sure - it can’t hurt and you might save someone’s day.

Sounds good I will bring extra stuff (bike, helmet, shoes) I will be at the wilkommenhof if anyone is in a jam.

If you want to make a bunch of friends, bring a tire pump to the transition on the morning of the race.

Funny - I just loaded an extra helmet and pair of shoes in my transition bag - backups for me, and loaners in case someone forgets theres. I do it often.
