ahhhh…not to speak for the handsome man or anything. BUT A MAJOR RECALL and associated costs may have had something to do with it…the replacement wolves(sp?) were great forks but gerard has to feed and clothe the kids ya know?
ahhh, ok
makes sense, i’ve got one of the new ones on my bike…so we’re all good there, but it just seemed wierd after developing this ‘super aero UCI legal fork’ that it was just abandoned…
ahhh, ok
makes sense,
Nope, makes no sense. Right now we have the Wolf available in 1", which was the size we used on all bikes when we first developed it. Right now, with the NarrowHead headtube that we use, all road bikes use 1 1/8" forks. We got rather busy with some new frame developments (R2.5, P3 Carbon) so we delayed work on a 1 1/8" Wolf. But there are two new versions of the Wolf about to become available. Quantities will be limited, so I don’t know if we’ll actually spec it or just keep it for aftermarket just like the 1" fork. We’ll see how it goes.

Question : I have a Superprodigy with one of the “old” 1" wolf forks with the white “cervelo” logo running down the forkblades. I asked the dealer if it was part of the recall. They reply was that none of the faulty forks had made it out of north america so mine would be ok (purchased in Denmark).
Can i trust this completely ? i am getting worried as it looks like everybody else has the old version exchanged.

Wow, that’s a pretty old fork. If it is the fork with the big white Cervelo logo it is part of the recall. Please do not ride the fork and check www.cervelo.com/wolfrecall for details.
