Q: Doesn't it seem like the top 3 TT riders... (no spoiler)

Doesn’t it seem like the top 3 TT riders don’t extend as much in their pedal stroke (in terms of how bent their knee is when the foot is at the lowest point)?

It seems as if before they’ve fully pressed down on their pedal their already at the lowest point of their stroke and are coming back up. I can imagine that this takes advantage of the momentum you get on the most powerful part of the down pedal, eliminating the weaker finishing part of the stroke. But then again I have no idea what the hell I’m talking about.

Is this the camera angle, or a newer technique? Or is it a old technique that I’m in the dark about

Dear Mr. Junk,

It’s called correct saddle height.

Attentively,

Ah well it seems as if most don’t have correct saddle height then (including people in the tdf), along with what most LBS suggest.

You notice that without the “It’s called” your comment because much more pleasant? But I guess you’re Paulo for a reason.

I have no idea why you found my comment unpleasant. However, I will edit in order to be more polite.

You can always ride too high and have this happen:.

a lot of local LBS’s in my area do a really poor job on fit
.

You must live near Bikesport Michigan.

Your sarcasm was not missed. It’s okay if you don’t have any social skills, which you have repeatedly shown in the past.

Edit: In addition, you didn’t even answer my question.
