Putting an Ergomo and PT equipped bike on a CT - question for the smart/power people

Hey all,

I’m testing my Ergomo vs. PT on my bike. The ergomo consistently reads a bit higher than the PT on the road. For the first time today - I put my bike on a CT. The ergomo now read a bit lower than the PT. Why? Does a CT and the roller affect the torque on the PT wheel vs. riding on the road? Something else? I’ll repeat a few times to check but was wondering what you all thought.

The ergomo SHOULD read higher than the PT for one simple reason – drivetrain losses. PT/CT will also help identify any power discrepancies between your left and right leg (ergomo measures left left power and doubles it), so that is useful. But your ergomo should definitely be showing more power than your PT.
