For some reason and only on my right foot it appears the majority of my down pressure is exerted through my big toe. This is further evidenced when looking at my inserts which shows the majority of wear specifically where my big tow is… Thoughts on how to combat this to even the pressure through my mid foot?

According to the guest in the linked podcast, you don’t want to stop using the big toe of your right foot, but rather you should learn to engage the big toe of the left foot, too. The wear mark (or lack thereof) on your insole under the big toe apparently is a helpful indicator of whether you’re doing it right.
