Pump replacement head

Can you replace the head of a pump to be specific to a presta valve?
I have a Blackburn floor pump with a dual-valve head and it never works.

I put the pump head over the valve and and start pumping but the air rushes out of the schrader side.
In essence, it blows.

Can I cut the head off and replace it with presta specific valve?

I had to recently replace the head on my Topeak floor pump. They have a replacement that includes the head, hose and connectors(Smarthead Floor Pump Hose Upgrade Kit sku# TSH-01). It’s suppose to work with any pump. The cost was $27.99 at my LBS. It works great. No air leaks.

duck tape it
.

I have the same problem, I cant just go buy one(im in iraq) so I stick a ear plug in it and hold it. Only works to 100psi though. They havnt returned my emails either.

Mine does that too, I would send it back to blackburn for replacement but I had a race this weekend and one next, I have no pump otherwise, I’ll send it back over the winter. In the mean time it works well if I hold it on the valve with my foot…

I just picked up a Specialized hose and switch hitter head at my LBS for $12. Once you start putting a crack pipe in the head (not sure if this is your issue) they stretch out and don’t seem to work well.
