Gonna be solo for this trip. Will rent a car. Ideally would love to stay somewhere that’s good for walking to restaurants, etc maybe a brewery also. Don’t know anything about boulder. Also open to Longmont as well. Thanks.

Yup, definitely a good walkable area. Only other option is AirBnB near reservoir for easy race access but the area is pretty useless otherwise. The hotels are mostly overpriced and scattered in Boulder.
I stayed at Omni Interlocken in Broomfield about 15 minutes away for IM Boulder last June. It is, in my opinion, a palace and was very well priced.
