After trying to find a nice all inclusive vacation it looks like we might be going to Puerto Vallarta. I am looking for opinions on things to do in the area, if it was nice, bad… any info is appreciated.
We were just there in March. We’re not at all into the all-inclusive thing. We stayed at Casa Dona Susana in the Zona Romantica. Nice beach at Playa Los Arcos across the street. Mostly dined at hole in the wall type places, the city market, or food carts on the street. Not big into the tourist-trap places. We spent a lot of time walking around and shopping, as well as time on the beach (Playa los muertos beach was rocky, but nice).
We had a great time, but again, our interests/tastes aren’t towards the all-inclusive thing. I highly reccomend the area.
Are there many hiking trails in the area? Did you happen to do any snorkeling?

Snorkeling was an option, didn’t get around to it.
Sorry to say we didn’t do any hiking, either. It was mostly a shopping and eating trip…
