So the reading on my powertap is wonky. The little transmission icon is there in the top left corner and I am getting accurate speed readings, but no power number. I just see dashes. I replaced the batteries in the hub, but that did not help. Any suggestions?

i pretty much had the same problem and ended up sending it back to cycleops to get it fixed and bought an SRM.

That is what I was afraid of. This problem just happened recently, out of the blue. I have a race this weekend, and would love to find a way to get my PT to work.

it is probably just the rear sensor on your chain stay that is too far away or not at the right angle that happened to me once and i just adjusted that and it worked without a problem.
