Since I have a Garmin 705 and an extra rim can I buy an ANT+ Powertap Hub only? I would only need the entry level ANT+, any idea on price for the hub only?

I am not sure on the prices of the new hubs but another option is to get a used SL 2.4 wireless and get the hub updater. The updater converts the firmware to ANT+. I used it on my 2.4 and it works great. Might save you money but keep in mind the updater is $100 if I remember correctly.

Thanks. More than I was hoping. Looking for a cheaper option to set up a second bike with power.
