PT hub not campy compatible?

I have just ordered a power-tap and have discovered that they are not campy compatible. Is there an “adapter” I can use so my cassette will work? I’ve looked into American Classic cassettes and they specifically state that they do not work with power-tap hubs, but my LBS thinks otherwise. Is there another company that makes a cassette that will fit a shimano splined hub but work with campy components? There must be another way to solve this problem other than switching to Shimano.

Thanks.

I heard the American Classic won’t work too well. The one I heard recommended is the Wheels Mfg Accelerator-10. I think it’s an ultegra cassete that is modified to the campy spacing.

If you are running 9sp than your campy will shift on a 9sp Shimano cassette perfectly. If you are running 10sp… I have an Ultegra 23-11 10sp (yes you read that right) that I machined and re-spaced to work with Campagnolo 10sp system. This is how it I did it… I left the 23,21,19 group alone, re-spaced 17,16,15,14,13 cogs using campy spacers and then machined down an outer 12 and 11 cog to the correct spacing. The cassette is only slightly wider than a Shimano 9sp and it has worked fine on everything that I have tried it on. I don’t use is any more so if you want it I would be happy to sell it to you cheap.
