I am thinking of building a front wheel with a cyclopes PT front hub. Any opinions/experience with this hub/wheel? I would be using primarily for road riding/fast training. I was thinking 28 spoke with open pro rim to match the rear.

What spokes, 2x? What rim? What nipples? Does it fit oval/blades? Does radial void its warranty?
I had a 28 spoke PT hub laced to a 404 with bladed spokes. IT is my favorite front wheel for all around use.
dt double butted, 14/15, round, black, 2 cross, and i have not considered nipples but black in color.
Mostly I was inquiring as to what people thought of the hub.
Nice enough hub. Looks great matching the rear. I don’t think it’s any better than Ultegra or Chorus and it’s way more expensive.
Bringing this thread back from the dead to see if anyone has had any bad experiences with this hub in the past year and a half?
My team deals for 2011 include a stupid good deal the SL+ wheelset from Cycleops which has the 32 hole front hub laced 3x to a DT Swiss RR 465. The deal is so good I don’t care if I have to replace the Cycleops front hub with a DA or DT 240s hub if it sucks. I’m just curious if anyone has had this hub shoot craps on them?
