This will be the 5th year running of this race that just keeps getting better and better. This race sells out every year, so if you want in, act fast!

Okay, so after a slight delay I’m signed up and in.
The sharp end looks pretty familliar: jonnyo, dukyle, & Paul Krochak were top 3 when they went off course. Zulu wasn’t far behind, either. TimeMachine’s better half did pretty damn well (she always does) and there are a bunch of other names I recognize, but can’t quite place.
Julian - are you in? I know YVR K will be there… Andy? Solymosi? YVR Drew? Other peeps? I know PNWTSUT13 was looking for an excuse to come up North… Maybe she can drag the old man along and they can stir up the ranks!

Wow, I feel like you made me do it! Actually I’ve already reconfirmed my accomodations for next year so I knew I would be back. Having said that though on the weekend of the New Balance Half I sorta want to try that race again too. If they could only make them 3 weeks apart. Hmmm maybe next year I’ll just bite and go for it. Next year is a big year for me.

Or can I wait for any of the other half dozen (or more) 1/2 Ironmans in Western Canada that don’t sell out and signup within two months (or less)?
Oliver is a great race, but IMO, Prestige 1/2, put on by Charlie Cooper, which I’m racing in just over a week… is better.
And guess what, I signed up a couple of weeks ago!
At least Wade from Great White North waits til September (the end of race season) to grab the money in advance, showing some respect to the athletes.
