An amzing photo, that in a way sums up the crazy day that was IMH this year.
Here are two of the truely great triathletes over the last 10 years with numerous world championships bewteen them, humbled by Hawaii and waiting to hitch a ride back to Kona.
In a way it reminds me of those old photos of the Tour de France with the riders sitting in the shade out side a cafe drinking beer!
Are Simon and Luke hoping to both hitch a ride back on the Motorcycle!!
Fleck
I had recognized Simon Lessing but had not recognized Luke Skywalker ???
Or is it Luc Van Lierd you’re talking about ?
This has happened to me before… while correcting someone I make a mistake! That’s LierdE
You’re right, Lessin and Van Lierde. My bad.
Obviously, Simon had to stop during the race to do some ab crunches. Luc saw him by the side of the road, and decided it was a good time to rub some suntan lotion on his own legs.
Just kidding… I am a huge fan of both these guys.
What’s with the motorcycle with a front disk wheel. Did the winds make him pull over also as too dangerous?
Why aren’t they cheering on the age groupers???
D.
Why is everyone using pictures from my website?
First Hellriegel and now this one.
Next year i’ll sell them to digital or directly to Triathlete or Xtri
