Just out of curiousity, has anyone heard of any pro’s planning on doing Ironman Louisville this year? Usually you hear about their schedules in the fall or spring and I haven’t heard any pro’s confirmed for this race yet.
TJ Tollakson mentioned at Eagleman that he was going to race Louisville in the attempt to get a Kona slot. His focus will be on getting to Kona and doing well there as opposed to focusing on 70.3 championships. They only had kona age group slots at eagleman.
Anyone hear anything? I can’t open the start list for some reason.
Didn’t he win Eagleman? Doesn’t that usually get you a Kona slot? Or was he racing as an AG’er sna just dished out some whup ass on the pros?

I’ve had a few drinks tonight and about 30 seconds before I saw this thread I decided to go pro. I’m registered as an open AG, but I have every intent on changing that at the registration tent. Bring it!!! I think there are 2 other pros.
Another eagleman racer, Chris McDonald I think is doing IML.
It would have but the pros did not have kona slots…only AG’s. Too bad for him.

I’m signed up for the race and my name isn’t on the list. The list on shows two pro males and no pro females. I saw a list when I was signing up and there looked to be 25 or so pros.

Where did you find the start list? I tried clicking on the entrants list link on Ironmanlive.com and could not open it.
