Prologo Saddles

Has anyone out there tried one of the Prologo saddles? If so, any comparisons to what comparable saddles are with other brands

Love them. I use a Prologo Scratch on all my bikes. Very comfortable padding and a comfortable shape. I’ve used Selle Italia, Selle SMP, Fizik in the past.

I had a Nago Pas… Very well constructed. A lot like specialize toupe for a l little less flex, but looked way cooler. I always wanted to try the Scratch…

I read somewhere that the tops / covers where able to be changed, and that a top with extra padding is available? Looking at the Colnago Prologo for my C50

i had a Nago Pas…I agree that is similar to a Toupe. Very flat and firm. Too flat for me…ended up switching to a Fizik Arione. For my road bike, btw.

I have the Prologo Touch Choice Pro Ti Saddle on my Trek 1200 and have nothing but good things to say about it. It comes with an extra cover for winter riding and then a summer cover that has “air vents” in it. It took a little while to get use to and conform to my @$$ but once that happened it has been great. I picked it up off of chainlove.com for $95 so figured that was a decent deal. Backcountry outlet has it for $142 right now. I could see it coming up on bonktown.com once it opens up (it is going to be only roadie products and chainlove will be MTB only).

My new saddle is Prologo Scratch. I think I have finally found the perfect saddle! Last few years, I’ve been trying Selle Italia Flite, Fizik Arione, before settling on the Fizik Aliante as the best saddle available… it was the only one I could ride for long rides (5-6hrs) with tolerable pain. With the Scratch, I can do a 3hr. trainer ride (it’s freaking cold and snowy outside, so no idea how it will perform on the road… but usually sitting on the trainer was always painful for me) without even feeling any kind of discomfort.

I borrowed a Scratch to try, and ordered two of them the next day. They are expensive, but if they would double the price, I would still buy it.

I own 4 Aliante’s and haven’t found anything else that works. The Aliante is still lacking some but the best compromise. The Scratch has a very similar shape but at nearly $400, it’s outrageously expensive IMO. That said, I’d still like to try one…

Sounds like some good things all around . . . just to further my inquiry, are all you users out there using them on a road bike or tri bike? i.e. riding in aero position or upright position?

I’ve been seeing them on Chainlove a lot (as mentioned) and am tempted, hence all the questions.
